By engaging M&I Investments Group, Inc. (“we,” “us”) — including by submitting any form on this website, scheduling a consultation, or communicating with us by phone, video, email, or messaging — you provide your informed, voluntary, and ongoing consent to the matters described below.
1. Scope of consent
- Electronic recording of voice and video calls, screen-share sessions, and meetings.
- Electronic capture and storage of emails, messaging threads, form submissions, signed documents, and uploaded files.
- Electronic logging of metadata such as timestamps, IP address, browser, and event history necessary to authenticate communications.
2. Purpose
Recordings and records are maintained to (a) accurately document services delivered, (b) protect both parties in case of dispute, (c) train our team and improve service quality, and (d) comply with our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
3. Retention period — ten (10) years
We retain recordings, related communications, and associated metadata for a minimum of ten (10) years from the date of the recording or last engagement, whichever is later. Records may be retained longer where required by law, regulation, or legitimate business need (such as ongoing litigation hold).
4. Storage and security
Recordings are stored on encrypted infrastructure with role-based access controls. Access is limited to authorized personnel and service providers acting under written confidentiality obligations.
5. Two-party / multi-party jurisdictions
We operate in jurisdictions that may require all-party consent for the recording of communications. By proceeding, you confirm your consent on behalf of yourself and represent that you have authority to consent for any other participants you bring to the conversation.
6. Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw consent prospectively at any time by emailing admin@miinvestmentsgroup.com. Withdrawal does not affect recordings already captured, the lawfulness of prior processing, or our obligation to retain records for the 10-year period above.
7. Access requests
You may request a copy of recordings or written records that pertain to you, subject to identity verification, redaction of third-party content, and reasonable processing fees.
8. Acknowledgement
By using our services, checking the consent box on our forms, or continuing a recorded conversation after notice, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Electronic Recording Consent.
